HUMANISTIC AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF THE ENCYCLICAL LETTER "DIVES IN MISERICORDIA" BY SAINT JOHN PAUL II
Summary
The article, "Prophetical nature of the encyclical ʻDives in Misericordia' by Saint John Paul II", shows two aspects of mercy: its salvific significance in the human life and its contribution to promote justice in the world. Thanks to the new approach, the Pope presented the theological truth of mercy with its anthropological, existential and social consequences. God, revealed by Christ, is the merciful Father, willing to forgive people and suffer with them, to give them hope and support. This truth involves Christians practicing mercy daily and it has its significance in the moral life, in the life of faith and for the evangelization of today's world. Mercy in social life puts attention to the central place of human dignity and equality of all subjects and in this way corrects and develops justice.

Summary:
St. Irenaeus as a western figure has a different exegetical account of Genesis which provides some of the foundational principles for his theological concepts of the ‘new Adam' and recapitulation. The western theological tradition has instead taken the approach handed down by St. Augustine which is seen in St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body. This article will describe the difficulties of Irenaeus's view while also showing the faults of the Augustinian position as shown in John Paul II while comparing the fruit of both in order to develop a synthesis that can encapsulate the fruit of both positions.

SAINT JOSEPH, SPOUSE OF MARY IN THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST. ST. IRENEUS OF LYON AND THE MAGISTERIUM OF ST. JOHN PAUL II
Summary
The decree of Pope Francis granting the title of Doctor of the Church to St. Irenaeus of Lyons has given impetus to the study of his doctrine in new theological fields. The present article aims to contribute to Josephology the vision that the holy bishop had of St. Joseph and his predestination to be the spouse of Mary. It will also analyze the soteriological reason for the marriage of the Lord's parents, rediscovered in the apostolic exhortation Redemptoris Custos of St. John Paul II.

THE SUBORDINATE RECAPITULATION OF MARY IN THE TEACHINGS OF THE BLESSED JOHN PAUL II
Summary
When discussing the great topics in the teachings of the Blessed John Paul II, we cannot overlook the Marian dimension that was present in all his teachings and was evoked in various situations and contexts. It is not some mannerism of the Pope but the consequence of a profound analysis of the economy of salvation, in which the Blessed Virgin Mary plays a vital role. The whole Good News, Christ, the Church, the economy of grace, contain references to Mary. She integrates the motives of the history of creation and salvation and it is in her that they are illuminated. The Mother of the Saviour is a prophetic sign of the history of man, humanity and the Church; the first who experiences the ultimate destiny predicted for man and who concentrates, or recapitulates, in herself all the themes of redemption, becoming, so to speak, the embodiment and the guarantee of the recapitulation finally achieved by the Son of God. The Mystery of Mary is inseparably linked to the mystery of redemption. In the Pope's teachings the following theme was documented thoroughly: Redemptoris Mater, so also Recapitulatoris Mater, or even Recapitulating Motherhood. Mary is the role model, the picture and the most perfect Daughter of the Mother Church. So she is, in a sense, the "recapitulation" of the Church. She is also the Mother of the Church - both through giving birth to its Founder and through her maternal presence conferred on her. In discussing subordinate recapitulation, those relations and analogies make necessary the distinction between Mary's subordinate recapitulation and subordinate ecclesial recapitulation. But they are always in relation to the unique Christological Recapitulation. Mary, because of the role assigned to her by providence in the history of redemption, may be called the Recapitulating Motherhood. The mystery of recapitulation accomplished in Her is subordinate in character towards Christological Recapitulation - which is the source of its power and the destination it leads to. This subordinate function of Mary is performed especially towards the Church and in the Church that gives birth to God's children, suffering through its members and leading towards final recapitulation in God. The discovery of subordinate recapitulation allows us to see the opulence of God's intentions. In this context the histories of individual human beings and the history of the world acquire a certain reality, concreteness, and the specific "uniqueness" and "non-substitutability" of each human is accentuated. God's mysteries become clarified even more, they "draw nearer" to worldliness, and man perceives himself from the perspective of the elect and elevation. Owing to this approach we may observe a human being becoming, in a subordinate order, the way and completion of recapitulation and - by his free will - he becomes the participant in the mysterious process of divinisation.

PROTORULE OF UNITY ACCORDING TO BLESSED JOHN PAUL II. Summary
The problems of the protorule (the original rule) of unity and its reflection in various realms of reality is an indispensable hermeneutic key to the further consideration of those truths that constitute a certain conception of christological recapitulation in the teaching of the blessed John Paul II. We mean better understanding of the Word which is "in the beginning" and which is to utter the ultimate fulfilment of everything (cf. Jn 1:1 seq.). It is especially important for grasping the drama of break disunification depriving human existence of any sense due to sin and consequently for revealing' the sense of the recapitulation more fully while in its practical aspect it would mean following its paths. Talking about christological recapitulation one can even overstress the ultimate option, while devaluating the significance of the beginning of the universe. One can perceive Christ only as an Omega, while losing the perspective of His being an Alpha. This way there is a danger of a certain kind of break in handling reality, sometimes even leading to oppositional treatment of the work of creation and redemption. The Pope's vision of the reality of redemption explicitly points to the One Undivided Trinity as the Author and the Protorule of oneness-followed and accomplished in the world created by God, carried out in Christ and finding its ultimate fulfilment and recapitulation in Him.

ST. BENEDICT OF NURSIA AS THE PATRON OF EUROPE IN JOHN PAUL II'S TEACHING
Summary
Contemporary Europe is experiencing a serious crisis, manifested, among others in demographic problems and in the axiological vacuity caused by the expelling of religion from all areas of life. The causes of this crisis are much deeper and not are only on the economic and political level. We have the crisis of the identity. One must to look for an antidote to this situation. One of the authorities who often speaks on themes linked with the identity of Europe is John Paul II, who for almost 27 years of his pontificate devoted many initiatives, speeches, homilies and documents to this matter. The proposal of the papal teaching concerns, among others, references to the heritage of the Saint Patrons of the Old Continent: Benedict, Cyril and Methodius, Brigitte of Sweden, Catherine of Siena and Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. We don't just mean here about recalling their historical merits, but above all about the actuality of their message for contemporary Europeans. St. Benedict, called the Western Founder of Religious Order, teaches us, by creating the first religious low, how to perceive what is eternal in a world dominated by consumption. Thanks to the developed principle of ora et labora, it opposes the prevailing disintegration and teaches us the correct approach to human work. From his teaching, contemporary societies marked by the “crisis of fatherhood" can learn what it means to be a real “Father".

We don't just mean here about recalling their historical merits, but above all about the actuality of their message for contemporary Europeans. Saints Cyril and Methodius are called the Apostles of the Slavs because their evangelizing activity concerned various Slavic nations. Both brothers acted on the instructions of the Bishop of Constantinople, but they constantly sought confirmation of their mission from the Bishop of Rome. Therefore, they are an example of efforts to build the unity of the Church. They used inculturation in their evangelizing activity. They did not destroy native Slavic cultures, but transformed them in the spirit of the Gospel. For this purpose, they created a new alphabet, called the Cyrillic alphabet. Cyril translated the history of the Church Fathers, and his group of translators translated into Slavic nearly all of the Holy Scriptures and liturgical books. For today's Europeans, Saints Cyril and Methodius may be the best model of building unity.

THE MISSIONARY NATURE OF THE CHURCH IN JOHN PAUL II'S ENCYCLICAL REDEMPTORIS MISSIO IN THE FACE OF THE VOICES OF THE AMAZON SYNOD
Summary
The subject of the study is the theme of the missionary nature of the Church presented and shown in a new light in a deepened and adapted to the challenges of the end of the 20th century by Saint John Paul II in the encyclical Redemptoris missio. Today, a special opportunity to undertake this issue and to present it in the current historical and ecclesial context is the 30th anniversary of its announcement (December 7, 1990). The presentation of its contents and their analysis highlighted the uninterrupted continuity of Christ's missionary command and the unchanging relevance of the message contained in the document regarding the proclamation of the Gospel and the baptism of all people. The necessity of recalling this topic appears inevitably, taking into account the internal condition of the Church, as a result of which the mandate entrusted to all Christians loses its power and seriousness. As a result, due to the weakening of missionary awareness and responsibility manifesting itself within the Church, it seems necessary and absolutely essential to remind and refer to the encyclical of John Paul II in order to awaken among Catholics the awareness of the mission of announcing the Gospel given to them.
